Wholesale fruit and veg was sold at the market for more than 125 years before it closed in 2019

The historic red brick building on Mary’s Lane, situated between Capel Street and Smithfield, has remained empty since its closure in 2019 

Refurbishment process was originally due to be finished in 2021, however it was delayed due to changes in the tendering process.

The application includes the potential for a cafe/ restaurant and retail.
